So I'm thinking about trading in the F350 on a 2016 F150 SuperCrew SuperShort-bed with the 3.5 ecoboost...
I know it won't drag my camper...
Has anyone heard anythng bad about them?

There are a few issues with the new body style, but nothing serious. Some are having issues with door latches that freeze up in cold weather, but mine has been flawless to this point. The 3.5L EcoBoost engine is largely unchanged from the previous generation, but the CAC has been revised and doesn't seem to suffer the condensation issue.
You're looking for the same configuration truck as mine, and I absolutely love it.
I personally have not heard anything bad Randy. Going to leave the camper there?
Yup... We went annual with the RV Resort as it was cheaper than dragging the camper back and forth even with the fuel prices being low..

Thanks Tom... We test drove an F350 CC-SB-SRW and the new F150 tonight.. The only reason I am considering the F350 is that I hate the notion on my camper being stranded here in case I needed to move it (doubtful)... The dually is just too doggoned big for a daily driver and 3 months of nothing but the dually have proven that over and over again. I love the truck but I really need something smaller. We are also considering a new(er) Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - although I would hate being without a pickup truck..
Well my neighbor has an issue with his Eco F150. There is a TSB for the timing chain and cams. I know it is probably not common but his is a '15. He is looking at $2700 to repair it. I guess he was quoted that with 15 hrs labor. He is going to pitch a bitch with Ford and see what they can do being he has 66k and the wrnty was to 60k. I am a fan and would buy an Eco any day but just a heads up.
