i just want to be a programmer. i hate management. ugh.

 

That's why I'm staying right where I'm at in my job. Love the work, like the pay, and don't have to put up with all of the crap, stress, meetings long hours, etc.

 

I'm in that awkward place in my company that I've come in and made an impact of organization and management that the engineering department hasn't seen...so people come to rely on me to do my job AND my boss' job. It's a lot of unnecessary stress.

 

Bill, stop doing such a good job.

 

Geez, that's what you get for raising the bar, Bill......LOL

 

Yeah, I guess you can say that...lol. Oh well. At least I know stuff I'm responsible for gets taken care of and I at least have respect around here...makes it easier to ask for vacations...lol.

 

Raising the bar... that's just crazy talk. LOL

 

The only bars I'm truly trying to raise these days are to defend my Carlisle class championship this year. Anything else, well, it's by accident...lol.

 

I prefer to dig a trench, and drop the bar in there.....LOL

 

But that's the life of the #1 Slackmaster LOL.

 

The real test of your ability is if you can get #2 to dig the trench for you.

It's cold. It's snowing. The snow isn't done yet. This weekend is going down to zero. The groundhog lied! Death to the groundhog! lol At least I've got a 4 day weekend to plot his early demise.
The good news is that I bought some truck toys off EBay and they all came in this week.
Now I just need the weather to cooperate so I can get it done. I also ordered a taillight for my wife's Merc because a tree was kind enough to jump out at her while she was backing up. I need the weather to cooperate so I can put that in. Unlike Bill, I'm not man enough to be messin' around with this crap in single digit temperatures! You're more of a man than I am! This ain't an emergency and can wait till Spring.

 

Morning folks and happy Saturday. Brutal cold out there this morning and I get to go out in it...ugh. Chin up I guess- mid week is to be much warmer.

Blue - at this point the only stuff I do is emergency repair outside lol...I want to build a bigger shop. Some day...
