Evening All!

RC has two red fenders and doors that are cut in. ....moving right along.

I had to put two new batteries in the Dodge dually so I could move it around. The old batteries were so dead, I couldn't even jump start it anymore. I guess I need to make some room in the shop to get those fenders fixed so I can get it the heck out of there.

My first attempt to fix or redo a dash pad...it was so jacked...it couldn't hurt to try....waiting for it to dry..

Well, I've had my heart attack for the day. I just had to amend our taxes due to a small class action settlement and for a moment it looked like I went from a nice refund to having to cough up cash. What gave me the heart attack was that the loss of refund + tax bill exceeded the amount of the settlement.

After some studying of the paperwork, I realized that what I was doing was simply refunding part of the refund to the ones that refunded it (IRS & DOR). Talk about going from to back to ...

Good Morning Everybody!

I need to get working on the dually fenders for the car lot, but as I told him, the truck doesn't fit in the shop. I would pull the Thunderstang out, but I don't even have a parking space out back I can tarp it up in.

I may just have to work on RC's truck some more. I think the goal today is get the under side of the hood and the outside of the doors shot.

I got the same thing with the Comet and some dang blue bumpside out back. The guy blew a radiator on the way in to the shop and he's conned me in to restoring the whole truck!
WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!

The car isn't housebroke either, she keeps peeing trans fluid on the floor any time she's moved.

Morning all. When I went onto the garage, I noticed the dash pad filling the cracks experiment had risen. The spray foam is now about an inch to an inch and a half thick. I think it may work for what I want out of it. A trip to surplus city this weekend for some faux leather material and padding is on the agenda.

Afternoon All!

RC. That red hood is worse than the blue one. After I ground all the dead paint and bondo off, I was left with a Ruffles potato chip. I spent about an hour with a pick hammer and dolly and got it much closer. Maybe I can have a good bit of the mud work done today.
