REALLY THIS STOPPED A MOTOR????
this is not ford or truck related but i had to share i bought this old cub cadet tractor to build up as a puller the guy i got it off of said the motor was seized.. no problem dads got another, anyway so i rolled it into the garage for tear down popped the spark plug out sprayed it down with good penetrating oil a few times lotsa crap all over the engine and frame so i tore most of the body apart to the point i could put a 3ft pipe wrench on the end of the motor and leaned into it ( me weighing in at about 245lbs) didnt budge,,, so we figured bottom end was locked so i unbolted it and put it on the bench and began taking the tin off the motor finding more and more nesting materials when i removed the flywheel cover this is what i found a mouses nest that had frozen the flywheel completely i was impressed it also caused alot of pitting and corrosion on the aluminum parts and rust on steel parts once i pulled the flywheel i could spin the motor by hand with ease ( head was already removed) in fact the engine internals are in very good shape even the oil was fairly clean..... thats some damned good nest building wish they could build houses that good

Had a 292y block i got from a bone yard a few years ago . it sat in the garage for awhile but before i pushed it under the bench i spun it over and noted it was a JASPER rebuild . long story short i pulled it out to sell to a friend and noticed mouse turds in the intake . pulled it and i'll be dained if the rodents hadn't turned the intake into a condo ........
