88 Bronco help
Picked up an 88 Bronco about a month ago. Fixed a few things before i put it on the road. Took it out for the first time today. Runs great BUT...after i drive and shut it off it will not restart. The engine turns over but no start. If I let it sit 15-30min it fires right up no issues until I turn it off again. Try to start and it won't start unless I let it sit another 15+minutes. Any ideas or info would be much appreciated.

Careful there! I had the same symptoms with a '89, turns out it was the fuel pump. Defective TFI module is common though and not hard to troubleshoot. Almost everyone on here will tell you to pull the codes from the ECM first. It is the best first step and only requires a volt ohm meter and a jumper wire.

88 help
Yep. My 89 had codes for the fuel pump as well as the TFI module. I replaced them as well as the fuel filter, just because. I continued to have the same issue, replaced the ignition module and have not had an issue since. I swear these old beasts all have factory installed gremlins that are unique to themselves only. Anyway, this fixed my problem. Good luck 2003DSG30, I'm curious to know the outcome as I learn something new about my rig everyday.
