Want to have shop swap one motor for a rebuild I got. It's 89, manual trans. Non turbo.

 

Will they have to change over all you accessories, including injection pump? This would be a pretty big difference in install cost. There are not a lot of people around that have the proper tool or know how to properly set the timing on the idi injector pump. The motor swap itself is pretty simple.

 

Shop rates vary across the country quite a bit. Why not call a couple local shops and ask for a quote.

 

don't know what your situation is, but its a very easy swap for a DIY'er with hand tools and an engine crane.
