If it looks decent in person and holds up well that's not a bad price for what you got. Although a great paint job is always nice it's not always needed especially on daily drivers that will take some abuse.

That was pretty much my way of thinking too. I just wanted a decent paint job to make my truck look good. I don't do a whole lot of hauling or heavy work or anything like that but I don't want to be afraid of putting a couple of pieces of plywood or a refrigerator in the back. There are still plenty of small little dings in the body that can't be seen unless you're looking for them but I didn't want to pay to fix them because I know that if I intend to drive this thing, I'm just going to get more of those anyway. I suppose there is a certain amount of risk having the work done by a guy working out of his garage but I figured that it wouldn't be any worse than Maaco and would cost me a lot less. It was also a cash transaction so I didn't pay any sales tax either.

Absolutely, and also with the new 390 engine this thing runs like a top. This truck has now become truly my truck, the way that I want it. Is there anything better in this world?
