F350 clockspring SAS, calibrate after raplacement?

I have a ford F350 2014

Had a faulty clockspring (steering angle sensor) so I replaced it with a new one, was preset with the plastic pin you pull out after install.

Installed all OK, but coming up with service AdvanceTrac error. Scantool shows steering angle sensor error and when I try to look at live steering angle data it shows nothing.

Does this need to be calibrated after install? If so is there any way to do with without taking it to dealer. I have vcm2 clone but it hardly has any options, among the ones its missing is the option to calibrate the SAS

tks in advance

As I recall the clockspring and steering angle sensor are two different components. So, if he replaced the clockspring he wouldn't have fixed the problem. 2011-2015 Ford F350 Super Duty Stability Control Steering Angle Sensor - Standard Motor Products SWS96 - - PartsGeek.com That's the steering sensor part and this Airbag Clock Spring Assembly M6005423010OEA: Advance Auto Parts is the clockspring.

Solved

When i replaced my clockspring i missed the sensor connected to its back and did not replace it where it belongs.
had to disassemble the whole thing again and reinstall it....
