lift kit

hi im new here and I have a 1980 f150 4x4 and I was looking for a suspension lift for it but I can only seem to find a 6in lift. is there any bigger lift out there or Is6 all im going be able to get.

Cant say on your application but I thin 6" is the cut off for all lift kits as 6" is the highest you can lift a vehicle legally and still be street legal.
At least that is what I have heard customers told at work when they wanted more than 6" lift.

You could do a 6" suspension lift and add a 3" body lift.

A 6 inch lift is iffy. You run into driveshaft length problems and angle problems. 4 inch lift is much less problematic. Of course you can lift them higher, but you have to do your homework when doing it, adding different methods of lift together along with custom driveshafts and double cardan joints, different steering setups, etc.
