Dana 60 Installed

We finally got the Dana 60 installed and everything that goes along with that buttoned up and we are very happy with the lack of rear end howl . Haven't had it on the highway yet we are still fine tuning the speedometer calibration , but at 60kms/h - 40mph she is just off idle a bit .

Now there ya go, I love it when a plan comes together. That first drive when you know you did everything correctly, but you still have that little voice in the back of your mind that is saying please, no howling , grinding or vibrations PLEASE, PLEASE! I'm really glad it came out with no issues at all. Did you keep the 3.54 ratio, from what I have read it should be a good ratio for you. You have yourself a beautiful truck there Allan, congratulations.

Thanks guy's , pictures to come . The speedo sender is the stock GM module on the T5 . The speedo is a metric autometer unit but there calibration instructions are the same as a mph unit and that doesn't work so we are tweeking and driving past a road side speed display in the neighbourhood to see how close we are .
As to you Jim you have the little voice thing bang on , as to the 3.54 ratio it seems ok so far but I will know for sure when we get it on the highway .

Rides a little softer now as well since I took out the over loads and 4 leaves from the main spring pack .
