g'day, and welcome.
I am using the AutoEnginuity program.
I was quite happy with it when I first bought it at version
10 point something but the latest version 12 update is a
big disapointment.
Reverting to an older version is problematic.
There are other programs that are bettter suited.
I am sure some wiser heads on the forum will be better able
to advise you.

Hey mate - I don't have a 7.3l, so can't verify if this works as well with your truck as it does with mine, but I personally use Forscan. Its free (just need a cable or bluetooth OBD2 dongle to connect it to a laptop).
Given the price, its probably worth checking out.
What's new
If you get a bluetooth OBD2 dongle you can also download an app to your phone which will allow you to check most PIDs, but they don't do diesel specific items.
