Blower Motor Squirrel Cage

Does anyone have any tips on how to remove the plastic squirrel cage from the blower motor in these pickups? I am in the middle of replacing my blower motor currently, got everything out and got the metal clip off the shaft of the motor/cage but i'm worried about breaking the plastic cage while trying to get it off the motor shaft.

Thanks!

1. It should be a metal squirrel cage if OEM.
2. It should have a allen head lock screw on the inside of the cage center point. Use a long T handle allen key and go thru the fins to get a straight shot on it.
3. To get the cage off the shaft? I simple loosened the screw and the metal cage came right off.

My 74 had a plastic fan... broke when removing it, luckily I ordered a new metal fan when I replaced the motor.
