Shocks
#3
Without knowing exactly what you are looking for, here is the best hint I can come up with.
Measure one of your shocks, fully extended and fully compressed. From that info you will know what size will fit. From there, the world of shocks is at your command. Do you want gas charged, stock, coil overs, nitrogen filled? It's all up to you and what you want from the final build. Keep in mind, you are dealing with leaf springs, front and rear. The words, "smooth ride", in today's terms, does not apply. If you "over shock" it, the ride will really turn bad. For my tastes, go with one that has a slightly larger piston then stock, (heavy duty). Mac's, Rock Auto, Auto Zone, etc. all carry Monroe shocks in both a stock type and a heavy duty. Average cost is about $15 to $20 each.
