Stock firewall would be way off to clear the turbo.

Joe,
Do you have a paint code identifier on your truck? Looks like it was originally a mint green color...? I have a 66 Regular Cab 4x4 that was custom ordered, with no paint code, and painted same color as yours...I think...so if you happen to know that code please let me know. Thanks and lookin forward to watching your progress!

Open the drivers door and see if the vin plate is there on the backside of door. Take a pic of the vin plate and post it here, lots of senior guys here can decode your vin and tell you alot of info off it...surprised no one has asked but see if its there on door. Because it was modified to a crew it may be located in a different place but Im hedging it is on the door....

Anyone have any leads on a good pair of wide radius fenders for sale? Mine are pretty crusty. I've got a perfect pair of small radius but they don't look right on my truck.

I'm debating on shortening my frame or shortening a long box 5" to fit frame. I've never shortened a box. How much work is it compared to shortening a frame?

There is nothing that is hard, per se, about framework, it is just that you have to perfect when realigning it before you weld it back together.

Real question is do you want a longer or shorter bed? That's what would be my deciding factor if It was doing it. Personally I'm a fan of long beds more then short beds. But that's because I like the extra bed capacity.
