61-67 E100 Van Floor Mats or Bedliner?
Want to put Floor Mats or some sort of Bed liner in 65 E100 Van.
Does anyone know if there are aftermarket Floor Mats that fit front and or back of 60's Econoline? If no aftermarket mats are available; suggestions for near fit to trim down or does anyone have floor dimensions of van to make something?
Any suggestions or experience welcomed, thinking rubber mats or something durable that can be removed and cleaned vs the **** carpet. Thanks!

Most carpet shops have a reminant pile you can dig thru, see if you can find a little piece of a nice tight weave commercial type carpet inna color that'd suit you.
drag it home and proceed to make cardboard patterns of the floor that you are 100% happy with for size & shape, cut the carpet into the desired shape(s) from the patterns, take the cut pieces back to the carpet store and have the edges bound so they don't come unraveled and besides that look good and professional like. you may even be able to choose a contrasting color of binding material that set the newly formed mats right off sharp looking like.
S'far as keepin' em' clean... regular shake & vacuum now and then, and it won't really hurt today's better quality carpets to give em' a blast with the pressure washer couple times a year....besides.... likely you won't have to much $$ into em' and you can always make up another set reasonably quick n' cheap after couple years.

Hi
On my previous 65 Econoline I simply cleaned up the floor, put some FatMat strips for sound proofing, 1/2" closed cell foam (carpet underlay) which doesn't absorb water or humidity and finished with a1/8" thick rubber material. Just make sure to leave it in the sun for a few hours so it gets rid of the smell. In other area (rear) I used 3/4" stained and varnish plywood. Results were great.
