No way to identify rebuild kit for AutoLine 2150 carb

I have an aftermarket AutoLine 8114A carb on Magnus (79 F150 351M auto). I couldn't find a rebuild kit online so I emailed the company - this is the response I got:
Sorry but we don’t sell kits. We buy our parts in bulk from multiple suppliers so I’m not able to even give you a kit #.

You can try Rock Auto to get a kit. They do sell kits but if they have the one you need I can’t tell.
Is there a "universal" kit available? Should I just replace the carb?

That's just a rebuilder's tag. Rely on the model of the carb rather than that thing.

... unless they modded the carb with some one-off, hard or impossible to find parts.

Now that's interesting. I found a handwritten note in the owners manual that gave a part number for a replacement carb. I will take another look at that.

I haven't seen a C under there but will take a closer look. In either case, I have searched for this and still not found the specific kit.

That Rockauto link goes to the Ford part numbers for the carbs. Many 2v carb kits of gotten have extra parts for different applications.

This was the key! I went back to the owner's manual to look at the note:

And NumberDummy comes through again (from an older thread):

Typically the original tag number for the carb and be found stamped on the side of the carb base, just below the driver's front hold down bolt or stud.

This stamped number may not be as complete as the tag number but has enough information to identify the carb as to it's original application.

Good luck.
