Skid plate option (Not Fx4) - Bolt on?

Hi folks,

I'm currently pricing a F250 with dealers in my area I plan to order, but I found one on dealer's lot that is priced great, but missing the skid plate option which I would like to have.

Does anyone know if the skid plates are a bolt-on option I could add later or is it more involved than that and I should get a truck with them installed at the factory?

Thanks

You can buy aftermarket bolt on. Not a deal breaker to me.

The transfer case and fuel tank skid plates are bolt on items that can be acquired and installed later.
