Yup same. Family has a utility Honda ATV, 2 CT50s and a CT70. They go forever.

I wouldn't mind one of those either. I love the CB series but dang do they bring some coin these days.

Got a little update. I got a Autoworld cummins mount to try out and review for you all and the company. Its a direct bolt in for the highboy and cummins 5.9 12 valve and 24 valve. Its really beefy! And what I didn't expect was them to include all the hardware as well as angle correction motor mounts and new rubber isolators.

They use a jig to make these and whats cool is that jig is a frame from a highboy that's 100% straight so its supposed to be a guaranteed fit. I have heard nothing but really great things about these guys out of Montana. They are a true 100% American made and operated small town company. Gotta love it.

Actually got something done today! I removed the pump and took off the tapped cover and replaced the seal. I then had to replace the pump seal. Very long process and you need to be sure to lock the pump so you don't mess up the timing on the injection pump. I then cleaned and sprayed the area behind the pump with Ford gray engine paint since I wont be able to reach that area later.

Next step will be to give the engine one last really good degreasing and wire brush it to prep for paint. Also going to polish up the injection lines so they look a bit nicer then they do now. Cant stand looking at flaking paint. It either needs to be painted or bare.

Soda blast your injection lines. They will come out looking almost new.

May want to do your KDP since your cover is off as well.

Yup KDP is on the list to do for sure. And good idea on the soda blast. Ill try it and see how they come out.

Well today I spent 7 hours getting the engine prepped and painted. Wire brushing the engine cleaning every crevice dirt and grease could be hiding took forever. I then took it apart and taped a lot of stuff off and hit it with a few coats of VHT engine enamel. Other then cummins brand rattle cans it seems to be the best at not falling off from heat.

To be safe I hit the exhaust area with super high temp black header paint so if the paint does flake a bit I don't have to see gray flaking and have to be annoyed by how it looks every time I open the hood haha

Last couple days I have been super busy with work but got a little more done to the cummins and of course loads of parts keep showing up. Whats cool is my UPS guy loves cars so he is always hanging out seeing whats going on when he makes a delivery. Which also means he doesnt come to my house at the end of the day

Got my exhaust parts in as well as my steering shaft. The muffler is a jones 4040xl and is the exact same as the aero turbine 4040xl. Owned by jones exhaust but the aero ones are backordered so i went with this one. 4" in and 4" out. Will be a 4" off the turbo and then convert to 5" after it goes through the muffler.

Yea I hope it sounds good

Update! Was a long week at work so I still need to do final engine assembly. But I got my springs finally and they look good. Should be installing this Sunday and seeing if I can do 37s and not have them look to big.

Between work I got more done to the truck. I swapped in my kingpin dana 60 and the 14 bolt rear. All painted up and clean.

Also engine assembly is half way done. Will try and finish up the rest tomorrow! Will then test start it and run it for a few minutes on the ground to make sure the timing isn't off.

Saturday 7/16 the old engine comes out and the cummins goes in!! Hopefully I can have it done in 3 days. I have laid everything out so hopefully im not forgetting or missing any parts. I will have to wait 3 days to get the correct length intermediate driveshaft made starting the following Monday. Fingers crossed!
