Looks like they shortened some 56 doors for the rears, looks much nicer that leaving that dog leg on the rear doors. I think I've seen pics of that truck before somewhere on the net. It is a very nice one..

I think I've seen it here on FTE. Isn't it four wheel drive?

Can't remember much about the truck but pretty darn sure I've seen it before, I may have saved pics of it but would be on my other computer that crashed and I have no idea how to retrieve anything on it..

It's a 4x4 on a 80's F150 4x4 frame. It's basically a nicer version of what I'm planning on doing with my 54.

Here's a youtube video of the blue truck. It's a used car dealer. They are asking some big $$ for it.

Here's more pics of it.

And here's a different extended cab with a chopped top.

Would love to build a club cab F100. Just don't have the body skills.

I don't have the greatest body working skills either but I'm not going to let that stop me.

That isn't my truck. The guy that had it built ( not a FTE member ) , use to have a website but the link doesn't seem to work anymore. I'm glad I saved the pictures when I did. I think there are a total of around 40 pictures of that truck I have saved.

I also have some pictures of other 53-56 extended cabs.

Lookin forward to following your build. Who knows maybe I'll get inspired and try one myself. It's really hard to get the small side windows to look period correct. The green one looks pretty good.

Actually the green one appeals to me more but I think it's because of the stance but the work on the blue one's cab is fantastic they way they did the rear doors. I'd like to try and do a project like it but can't see it ever happening now that I'm retired and have more time than money.

I could see doing a suicide extension (aka third door) like some of the extended cabs have. I'm retired too but where's all that extra time

Mine is going to look just about identical to the blue one, as far as the dimensions go. I'm going to be making the rear doors by using the rear sections of some 53-55 doors. I've got 6 junk/rotted doors to work with for the rear doors. When it's done the rear side windows will operate just like the stock front doors.
