Long Time Ford Guy, First Time Big Block Owner

Like the title says, I've been a Ford guy since birth. I've had trucks with almost every 1/2 ton engine offering as well as Mustangs and numerous Jeeps. Tonight I purchased my first big block. A 1989 F-250 460 EFI, 2WD, with what looks like a C6?? (It's dark now)

I was apprehensive about buying it due to the unknowns; unknowns for myself anyway (spare parts cost, engine rebuild cost, size of the aftermarket, etc.) Hopefully someone on this forum can show me the way of the big blocks. The truck runs and drives great.

I'm in the Charlotte area so any area big block experts and shops would be great resources to learn from. Also, if I could find some good junkyards that would be great.
