Wiring upfitter switches to constant hot

Ok so I've seen the guys on here suggesting to pull the relay and make a jumper wire from the top to the bottom terminals, my question is will this hurt the BCM at all? And will my door chime be going off constantly while the key is out?

Thanks!

What is a BCM? Body Control Module? What year truck do you have? I didn't know the upfitter switches had anything to do with the body module? Here's a diagram of a 2005 upfitter circuit.
