I can't get the "Zone" selection on my compass to calibrate it, so it's going haywire (shows N when I'm going S, etc.). I've read some old posts in which it appears this was a known problem and the only way to fix it was to get a new compass module.

I called my local dealer, Island Ford, and they advised the module costs $159+tax! Is this about right or is there any other place I can get it cheaper?

Have you tried calling your local junk yard? Sometimes they have really good stuff besides the wrecked cars, there could be a compass module in one of the wrecks.
