Any new news of the gear set for a Dana 44 in a '52 F-1 ? Heard in a previous post that a 3:54 was available for the Dana 41 .Some co. in Belgium ? Inquired at Randy's Ring & Pinion ( Yukon Gear ) about converting the 32 gears to 3:54 . Parts will be about $832 . Need some opinions please . Would make driving the stock truck way more enjoyable & would not have to leave a day earlier for a show . Thanks, Denny
I had Randy's rebuild my 3.92 rear from my 51. (Their local shop in Everett, WA) I had them change it to 3.73 with a new carrier, axles, bearings and seals. Also added the finned cover for some bling. I believe it was about $1200-$1300 out the door. I've only put about 30 miles on it so far but I'm happy with it.
