68 F250 Interior questions

The interior of my 68 F250 Ranger CS needs a face lift and I'm hoping to get some feedback/suggestions on what replacement products work well and which ones to avoid. The 3 main things that need replaced are the bench seat upholstery, the dash pad and the floor carpeting.

For the upholstery, it seems like most of the major parts sources (LMC, NPD, Mac's, etc.) have replacement kits. I'm just looking to get decent vinyl upholstery. I'm working on a budget so I need to spend as little as possible but at the same time it is foolish to buy junk.

I've seen the dash board covers that simply fit over the existing dash. Do these work OK? Other than not being the real thing, are there any major downsides. How do they look? If anybody has used one of these before and has a picture, I would love to see it.

I think that I would like to replace the carpet with a rubber floor mat. I'm always getting into my truck with dirty boots and so this is a better solution for me. Just looking for some suggestions and opinions on this one. Also, as I'm looking at the different options they are available to fit the different transmission humps in the floor. I have a cruise-o-matic in my pickup. In my case would I just choose the option that would fit a C6?

Thanks everyone.

The interior is red. The upholstery in the last pic doesn't look too bad but you can't see the driver's side, which is totally thrashed.

Nice looking truck, only a little love needed to fix it up. That red is in good shape!
