01 Navigator air suspension over inflated
Hello I'm checking here to see if I can find some help. I have a 2001 Navigator 2 wheel drive.
I was having the problem of the rear sagging while parked. I herd the compressor starting to run more often so I took it to my local shop. They told me is was the solenoids and it would cost $900 to replace both. I was told the bags were fine.
I went to the local auto parts store and found solenoids for $16 each so I decided to replace them myself. Once I had the bags off I found I needed to replace them so ordered new replacements.
Now I have new air bags and solenoids and they worked great for a week then we took our neighbors with us on a little day trip up the coast. There were 4 adults up front and 3 kids in the 3rd row. On the way home the check suspension light came on and now the air bags are fully inflated and won't go back to stock ride height.
Is this an issue with a ride height sensor or a relay or what?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks alloro,
My compressor hasn't came on since the weekend when the truck was fully loaded. The compressor came on once everybody loaded up. Once we arrived I don't think any air was released so it never went down. I checked the rear sensor and it is plugged in(working I'm not sure, is there a way to test it). I haven't checked the front sensors, where are they located? I have checked all fuses and all are good.

I was out checking a few things, when I removed the bottom of the rear height sensor and compressed it the compressor came on so I believe that the sensor is working. When I turned the truck off I could hear the solenoids clicking, but the bags were not deflating.
Is there a way to remotely deflate the bags?

I'm not sure if you can since the solenoids are clicking already. This means they're being tripped but not releasing air. You didn't add any extra O-rings or use sealant when you inserted the solenoids into the new airbags, did you?
