1950 F3 - reduce rear springs recommend

I have a 1950 F3 1 ton with 12 leaves in each of the rear spring packages. The truck is only going to be a run around town truck so I would like to make it softer by reducing the number of leaves in the stack. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am thinking of removing the 5 shorter leaves and keeping the longer 7

also, ..looking for 2 front outer fenders for the 1950 F3

thank Jeff

If you remove that many rear leafs, even the short ones, it will ride lower in the rear than the front. I usually just put in a better seat. Something that still looks period, or have an upholsterer add more foam to your existing seat.
