1st annual NCFTE Spring Fling
This open to any surrounding chapters that might want to join in the fun.
We are cooking up a spring gathering at Uwharrie this April 15th-17th.
We have sites 6,7,8,9,10,11 already reserved. There are other sites available.

I plan to contact the FTE authorities to see if they will offer up any assistance, banners or goodies for the gathering.
Check out the planning thread and add your thoughts or just say "I'm in" so we can start getting a head count.

Hi folks, This is still a go. You still have time to join in the fun. Looks like we're up to 15 committed with about 5 on the fence. I'm sure we'll get a few more.
The Big Meal will be Saturday afternoon/evening. The Q-crew are bringing smokers, and grills.
Lots of folks are fishing. Most of us will be on and off the trails all day. There is shopping nearby. Seagrove is close for all the potters. Mt Morrow is close. There's great roads for street bikes if you want to bring your motorcycles. There's even a gun range between the campground and the trail head if you wanted to plink.
Come for the day, come for one night or stay the whole weekend.

Big dinner Saturday. We have some mighty fine cooks in our chapter and they are bringing out the big guns. Not to be missed.
Several guys are bringing guitars and various instruments. Bring yours too.

Spring Fling Next weekend. 15th, 16th, 17th.
We still have a few tent spaces available.
There is going to be a fine supper prepared on Saturday afternoon/evening.
Weather is looking decent so far.
Lots of folks going to be fishing. A few hitting the trails. Plenty to do in the area.
