Just looking at the pictures, I could see a black/dark colored truck with BW's looking pretty bland. The OWL's would break that up and help it in my opinion. I have a dark blue truck, and have had them both ways. I prefer OWL's.

Think it's really about personal preference and also the brand....some just look great with clean OWL, BFGs come to mind.

I've run my Coopers both ways and to me, blackwall lettering is easier is clean and make look good again.

No special whitewall/white lettering cleaners and they also don't look as bad if you happen to get a bit of curb rash...

I got over the white letter thing in the 80's. Couldn't buy Michelins in blackwall so the the letters are turned in and still blue the last I looked.

it depends on the vehicle, tire, and rim combo. On truck with shiny rims and near stock sized tires I prefer OWL tires. With black rims or really large tires I prefer BSW. On cars and semis I prefer BSW.

Nope. It came with black wall Pirelli. Even though I've had it new since new in August 2006 it's only got 23k on it so it's got the original tires.
I'd probably go with white letter someday when it needs tires.m
