F47 pick up

What is the correct engine color for the F47 Canadian Ford 1/2 pickup. Blue or red?

Thanks

Tom

Let's get this bttt at minimum, and hopefully get some viewpoints. In the US the answer would be Ford red, not sure about in Canada. Never heard of blue being used during those years. Stu

Tom,

The correct engine colour is beige for 1950.
Its specific to Canadian V8s
I haven't found the actual colour code for it yet.

I was looking at the pic I posted above and I began to think that maybe this motor was rebuilt at some time and the builder or farmer slapped a coat of tractor paint on the heads.

This is the colour (or close to it) for 1950.
I haven't found an exact paint code for it.

One rebuild I found used Cummins Beige engine paint.
