Powering Heated Seats

Hello all, New to this forum and need some help with powering heated seat kit. My truck is a 2015 Ford F-250 6.7. Great truck but, it didn't have heated seats and since we have cold winters and I need to keep the wife happy, I chose to install some. I used a "tap a circuit" to tap into the interior fuse box, using a spare slot, 15 amp. Since that fuse is continuously hot the kit required I tap into a lower amp switched fuse, 5 amp. I tapped into the cold side of each fuse as the directions stated. Works great no problems except now the trailer brake module warning light come on. Any suggestions on how top proceed. Also thinking about getting the upfitter switches and using pone for the power source, but haven't been able to find what amps the lines are. Can any one give direction. Thanks, Glen

With that truck, there should be a bunch of PTO wiring under the column near where it goes through the firewall. The White/Blue (I think???) should be powered with ignition on. There is a sticker that identifies all the wire colors in the pack. Like 15 wires hanging there tapped up.. Cant miss it.

Are the wires under your seat a bundle with no connectors , or does it appear they are connected to something.

My 99 has driver side power seat, but no bundles without connectors.

I would have to relook, I think they have connectors but are not plugged into anything, but this is from memory and my wife says that's selective

Many Thanks

Thank you gentlemen for the replies. I did some more research and see that there are "upfitter switch" wires coming through the firewall that can be tapped into and the is a Ford Fleet site that has schematics. But, with that said, tapping into the spare 15 amp circuit has not seemed to disturb anything, so I'll probably leave it alone unless given a good argument to change it. Also, no spare wires under the seat. Thanks again for the help.
