when I shift from drive to reverse or visa/versa., somtimes when first starts. Just dies. Any thoughts?
96 f250 460 4x4. The truck was sitting for awhile but drives fine runs fine.
Idles fine. I thought a can of seafoam would work, but nothing. The truck rarley does it. but when it does its frustrating.

 

If the truck was sitting for a while like you stated, I would get rid of the existing gas in the tank, change your fuel filter, and refill tank with fresh gas.
