Wrong plug on Bronco Graveyard Heavy Duty Headlight Harness
High all,
Just ordered and received the heavy duty headlight harness from broncograveyard. It looks like a really good, robust setup.
However, I'm quickly running into the issue where the plugs are wrong. Before I start either cutting stuff up, or calling up BGY, I wanted to be sure I don't have some odd-one out, or I'm misunderstanding something.
On mine, I have a circular 4 prong harness that goes to the headlights.
The kit that is supposed to be plug and play and is for an '80 - '86 has a square 3 prong connector.
None of the wiring color coding between the two match, so even if I did start splicing, I wouldn't know what goes to what.
Can anyone tell me what's up?
Did I get the wrong harness? Do I have an odd year and a replacement is going to be exactly the same?
If so, what wires are for what?
Thanks

Neeeever mind. I figured it out. The new harness actually plugs in to the old headlight plug itself, the one that goes onto the bulb. I was looking around the engine bay for a plug that the headlight wiring went into, and that 4 prong thing was all I could find.
The install was pretty straight forward after that, and made a huge difference.
