Ford man. I'll check out the stickies.
yeah, thats what i was saying.

They are pretty hearty parts though, they dont go bad often.

When it comes to the oil, there are a ton of goofie things.

low power usually means poor oil pressure.

So its usually IPR or ICP.

Update:

Finally got to work on the truck today. I took off the pedal assembly to blow off the dust and dirt. Reassembled. Turned the key and the no IDM relay buzzing and so far no throttle response/CEL issues. Before this every time I turned the key the relay buzzed. Thought I didn't get to drive it around much to give it a real test since i broke the turbo outlet clamp on the turbo trying to a fix leak.

I also took the IDM off to see if it had water in it. I didn't hear anything.

It's been so long dealing with the relay buzz I'm not sure what is normal. Right now when I turn the key the CEL will flash on and off, I hear the relay click and then the GPR click on. Is this normal?

Don't know if this is a permanent fix and I wish I could say I had to replace something because it doesn't seem blowing some dust and dirt should have fixed this issue.

Turning the key on tests all the dash lights. The GPR kicking on is also normal. I don't know about any relay click?

Problem is still here. I have a Banks chip. Using a snap on reader and getting a P0605 response. Before I cleared the codes had several others P0221, P1293,P1294, P1780,P0565 and P0566 . Cleared all codes and still getting P0605. I'm getting ready to remove the chip, clear codes and run another test. I've read there is a code displayed if chipped. Is it 603 or 605. Which one is bad?

Additionally when testing in the beginning and viewing the monitor display , I would hit the throttle and engine light would come on. The ACL PEDL V would increase and the IVS would show OFF but the engine would not increase speed.

As seen here https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ble-codes.html P0605 is Internal control module error ROM --- I don't know what that is. The P0603 is the KAM error which you can get from low voltage/removing battery cables.

Thanks farmert.

I just got back from a drive. No issues. I can tell a difference in power without the chip, but I had no CEL or throttle issues. In the end I have to have a reliable truck. I guess I'll wait and see what tomorrow holds.

Wanted to finish up one of the problems I've had with the IDM relay buzz. (Knock on wood). I noticed I had a ground wire from the GPR cut almost in two. I didn't notice it because it was on the underside of the wire. I'm not sure how it even occurred. Since it has been repaired, there has been no relay buzz, CEL light, no start issue.

Still dealing with a TPS or IVS problem but I'm getting by for now.

There should be no ground wire connected to the GPR. The coil circuit is completed by the PCM grounding it during the GP run time.
