Cleanest f250 around

Hello everyone! I am new to the forum and just wanted some input on my latest pickup.... 1995 f250 xlt, 117xxx miles, automatic,4wd, skyjacker 6in suspension lift, 35" tires, 100% undercoated, hasn't seen snow, anyone have any ideas on what I can do to make this truck more badass?

Get some factory Alcoa wheels and then leave it alone.

Yep, what rolsmojave3 said...

Find a clean set of Alcoas and leave it stock. (Maybe plus-1 size the sires.)

There is no bottom to the slippery slope of mods...

i had a set of factory 16s with 50% michelin tire that came as extras when i bought my truck, anyways, i had them on craigslist for 100$ for 3 months. no bite at all. i sold them to a local shop for 25$ for all four and they still have them 5 months later. i was under the impression there was no demand for these.

... on second thought ... if i wanted to give it some love, i would remove the bedliner and get one of them there fancy spray-on coatings inside the box. i had it on my 84 ... tough as steel and looks good too.

Take it out and introduce it to some mud, dirt & snow.

Tow mirrors, look better and all the duramax guys say they add 50hp! But seriously, some metal mirrors would be better. Other than that it really is a great looking truck, enjoy it!

If the clear coat is nice, go buy them back and ship them to me. I'll gladly buy them

I agree with getting tow mirrors, or the swing away mirrors(my favorite). I've always thought those plastic ones look way to small on these trucks

The mirrors do look small, but I like those mirrors better than my swing locks. If I didn't have the extra holes in the door, I would swap mine.
My first thought, like others, when seeing the pictures was that it needs Alcoas. But... tires look a little wide for Alcoas, so maybe some thing a little wider but with the same general style. 16x8, or 16x10 if those are 315s.

Does this have a 60 swap in the front? Something to look into, if it doesn't. More pictures!

Exhaust? Window tint? Spray in liner, locking hubs, etc, etc. I could think of a few things. But its an awesome start, and from the looks on the window stickers and plate you're in PA, where clean older trucks aren't as common.

FYI

Undercoat rots things out

Take the flares off and see how bad the rot is(no need for color matched flares on a skinny tire truck)
They also dont appear to be 315s

^^^This.

Any fender flares spell RUST in my eyes. Only put on to cover up rotted fenderlips.

You couldn't pay me to have any kind of "spray on" bedliner. If it is a clean bed and you don't plan on hauling gravel leave it alone. A rubber mat is all I ever have in my trucks. Spray on liners only hide rust/rot til the underneath disappears.

The "car" type mirror are useless if you plan on towing anything. If you don't, then leave them on. No sense in putting more holes in your door.

Alcoa's are nice. Stock hubcaps aren't horrible. I like even a plain white painted rim sometimes--kinda rugged, no frills look.

Start surfing the net and pick your poison for things you want to change.

oem is boring.
i would take this plain jane and transform it into to a sharp,bad ***,customized 9th gen via;

bigger mirrors.
new rims.
lund sunvisor or moonvisor.
clear headlights & corners.
auto ventshade stainless window visors
billet grill.
chrome/stainless grab handles.
then add a second center (probably black, cus black on blue looks bad ***.) tu-tone if i could afford it.

it would make it pop, rather than blend in and turn some heads.

extra bad *** points;
big custom hd front bumper with winch for major bad ***,man card credit.
then (i dunno if they still make them?) one of those large, deep drop rear bumpers and extra wide mud flaps to complete the look.
