my 1st new Truck.... F350 6.2 Platinum

looks good. Hopefully you don't run into the same driver that messed your old truck up. I bet the guy thought he was in the right for trying to pass you like that. I had a guy cut me off on while I was trying to make a right turn into a gas station and when I called him on it he said he didn't do anything wrong.

Nice truck young Dan. Funny to see this turn into a shortbed bashing thread............I guess to some they have their place, that place isn't in my driveway either, tried it once, never again. The sheetmetal is a little thinner than the older trucks, but the rest is light years ahead!
Enjoy your new truck!

See I disagree I don't have any issues with any of my vehicles let alone my 2005 F350. You can all have your new trucks which have their own unique problems as well. If I ever decide to go newer at least when I do I will be stepping into a 2016 ten years from now and I will read enough about them thanks to you all that I will know what needs fixing!
Not to mention it's certainly a great feeling to own your truck and not have to pay payments! I can't justify spending over $55k for a new truck.
I will always buy used anyhow because I love doing my own work and don't care for warranty work because I don't trust any shop to do the work unless I can watch them do it step by step!
I have driven the newer ones anyhow, they feel great and have all the bells and whistles. Biggest difference aside the looks and technology built into them is towing power. Especially when we are talking the 2016 F350 and up that can tow a damn building down!!!
