ESOF vac lines

my ESOF only works when the hubs are manually put into lock position. this is fine with me as I come from a line of trucks that ALL had manual hubs.
I assume this vac system is part of the overall vac system, and I know a vac leak is not a good thing for an engine to run properly.
can a guy eliminate the vac lines so theres no chance of a vac leak? where would be the best place to disconnect and cap off?
i don't want to fix the ESOF as far as the hubs go, and may install Warn hubs anyway at some point.
thanks for your thoughts

I replaced the hubs on my 2006 F350 this past fall with Warn manuals. Was a piece of cake. The hubs actually came with caps for the vacuum lines.

You can just cap off the lines without changing the hubs. First get four vacuum caps from an auto store. Crawl under each front wheel and pull off the five inch or so piece of vacuum tube you see, and then stick the caps on the two ***** that you just remived the tube from. That's it. You don't have to do anything with the tubes that go up thru the engine to the actuator (unless you want to)

My vacuum tubes were in great condition. Had to work them off with pliers. It took me longer to remove the tubes than it took to replace the actual hubs.

Yes. There's a short vacuum line that runs from a tee to the PVH solenoid. Disconnect the line from the tee and put a cap on it. I had to do that on my 01 a while back until I got around to replacing the PVH solenoid.

There's really no need to screw around crawling under the truck, just cap off the supply line under the hood.

Find the PVH solenoid. Follow the supply vacuum line. Can't miss it.
