Just a FYI. the Dana 60 gives you ZERO more capacity. It has the same axle rating of 4600lbs that the Dana 50 TTB has

you've got the PSD/E4OD/4.10 combo.the highest rated 9th gen pickup towing capacity combo.hook onto her and run 'er.
the hydroboost brake system is a huge upgrade, however that's not needed with a trailer with working brakes.where the hydroboost shines is when just running with the truck with a heavy load on.

Ok maybe so but I'm pretty sure the rotor size is bigger. And yep I got good trailer brakes but I still would like to have the security of hydroboost with my bigger tires. And what parts would the consist of ? Power steering pump, lines and booster. Anything else ?

oh your preaching to the choir as to whether or not to upgrade.

ok,hydroboost doesn't change the brakes.it simply changes how much pressure the brakes receive via a different method from vacuum assist to hydraulic assist.
everything you need to know can be found here.read the whole thread to find info on the brake pedal etc.

What's your hitch rated at? You can upgrade everything else, but it's kind of pointless when the trailer rips the receiver off the frame.

Ok thanks I'll check it out. I know how the hole system works just wondering what parts I'll need to covert it. And maybe get luck at the junk yard 😁

the GCWR(gross COMBINED weight rating) is 20,000lbs, aka the truck, trailer and load
Just to expound on this, 20k GCVW is combined for everything. 8800 GVW is the truck, plus any cargo(in the truck), plus the TOUNGE/PIN WEIGHT of the trailer. So, you can never (legally) exceed the truck exerting 8800LBS through its tires. It's further broken down by axle capacities.

So, in a GN/5th setup, you'd have about 20% of the trailer's weight as tounge/pin weight. That comes directly off your payload capacity and the truck's GVW.

At 11k lbs, that gives you a pin weight of 2200 lbs on the truck.

Also, I'd have to check again, but in my 95's manual, I think the highest tow rating of any of the trucks is 10k.. I have a 95 460 4.10 with a 8800 GVW. I have a payload capacity of like 28xx lbs. I think there was only one combination with a GVCW higher, but it was a diesel, and it lost its advantage in a significantly higher curb weight.
