can the auto transfer case be made into a manual shifted one, by passing all the electronic felbercarb? I have seen the little do dad that replaces the shift motor, don't wanna get out and crawl under the truck to engage..rather just have a lever...

 

go find a wrecking yard TCase and swap it over. you going to need all the linkage and shifter anyway. the hole in the floor is already there you just have to peal the carpet back. Do you already have manual hubs?

 

Well da...I meant, is there a switch similar to the switchster or what ever that was adaptable to the auto switching transfer case..If that person could figure out a way to make his device usable from inside the cab...he would have a winner!!! A handle could be made to apply pressure to the locating pin, rotate up and release the locating pin, it would be in 4-h then again push on the pin and rotate down and lock in, it would be 4-l....hummm

Anyway I figured out that by loosing up the three screws on the motor electrical assembly and turning it about 1/6" I had 4x4 hi and lo again. thanks all
