Dome light problem

I pulled my bulbs out today to switch them to led's and I guess I snapped the metal loops that go around the bulb shroud. Can you order the "loop"/ribbon connector that connects into the overhead console?

I doubt that printed circuit was ever available as a stand alone part. In your search you may want to look for the whole light assembly.

it will still work. Mine is broken like that and still works (as long as they arent broken on both power and ground leads). if not you can solder a tiny wire across on the metal spots

If you look in the tech folder you can totally do away with them to add LED's. Thats what I did.

Thanks AGS- found that last night and just finished it at lunch. Pretty simple- took me about 30-45 min.

So I blew a fuse(#35) when I tapped the broken ends of the ribbon cable together before I decided to do the above mentioned mod. Replaced the fuse and all was fine w my lights, inst. cluster, etc. However, now my drivers power seat will has no "movement" at all but the heat works. Looked at fuse 112(left hand power seat), appeared fine but replaced anyway w no luck. The passenger seat works.
Coincidence?

circuit

Mine are broken on one side and put both out of service. Can you get that circuit of hammered flat wire or do we need the entire assembly. What a headache a dome light can turn into.

LED's are notorious for causing electrical system problems. They draw far less power and can interfere with other things that operate on that circuit.

Test your seat circuit to see what power level is there at the connector.
