You can add me to the list.
While his skills may be impressive, it certainly takes some talent and drive to take on a project like that, and do a good job at the same time, it still doesn't make a lot of sense to do. To me, it's no different than attempting a '15 F150 frame swap on our trucks. At the end of the day, it's still easier to upgrade the suspension and drivetrain with 'newfangled' parts than graft two unibody chassis together. That's my 2c. Some years ago, the fad was to put an early model Mustang body on a Fox chassis to get the strut front end and 4 link rear. Same work as the Charger for the same gain. Today, it's much simpler to update the suspension on the factory pan and be done with it.

Thanks, AlbuQ F-1. Amazin' work, although I'm not sure the result has the aesthetic appeal of an F1. Yes, I bolted from F-book early on, as soon as I discovered what they were doing with our information. To add insult, they wouldn't let me opt out -- the effort went into an endless spiral of inconclusive circular pages.... We need an Internet Bill of Rights.

Awhile back I attended a Ron Covell workshop that was conducted at Hot Rods & Custom Stuff in Escondido, CA. Randy Clark, the owner of HR&CS, gave us a tour of his facility and one of the projects he was working on was called "Mercedes Bent", a SL190 that was stretched in all 3 axis' and built on a late model Mercedes bi-turbo platform. Do a web search on the car, it is absolutely amazing. I saw the finished car about a year later on display at the Grand National Roadster Show, it was amazing to see the finished car after having seen what it looked like while under construction. Randy filled us in on a lot of details that will never be written up in any articles.
