You can also use your fuel bowl heater as your power source instead of tying into the fuse box on a separate circuit.

I've got the bar none wiring harness on order.... I'm hoping it eliminates that section of harness except for the IPR wiring.... That harness is in pretty rough shape haha

Subscribing. I'm 40% of the way through my DIY e-fuel. That project has just been stalled out for about 2 years lol.

The biggest advantage to efuel is it drastically reduces the number of potential leak points that are a PITA to find and fix.

EDIT: Thomas is supposed to tar and feather me if I don't have it done by RRE this year.

The filter bracket is gonna be my slow point.... I don't have air compressor or welder in my shop yet.... So I gotta get measurements from noss and get metal, cut and weld it at my buddies then bring it back to instal at the house lol

I made a mockup out of glued together 1/4" plywood and tried it before I actually cut and welded any metal. And, I'm still making revisions to the "final" steel version.

One of the better reasons for going to a DIY efuel is you can justify buying welders, air compressors and all kinds of other necessities.

You just rip all that other crap out of there besides the IPR wiring. You'll see once you get into it.

I think the Exhaust Backpressure Sensor is on that same harness? We should keep it, right? I think there is a lot of confusion about what that sensor does. I understand that you still keep it even if you've done an EBPV delete since despite the name similarity it has nothing to do with the EBPV.

However...my sensor tube was completely clogged and when I cleaned it I didn't notice any difference at all in how the truck ran.

Its purpose is to inform the PCM how much back pressure is present so the PCM can determine how much it can close the EBPV. Believe the limit is somewhere around 43 PSI. Without the EBPV it does nothing, although some say it helps the PCM determine what fuel tables to use, I've never found a write up on that though.

I think you're right, it is in the EBPV circuit and probably no where else. I've been told so many times that it isn't even in the EBPV circuit that I started believing it. Thanks for clarifying.
