Busy

Busy moving into my new house in Stoughton and a new job.
After 26yrs at Tyco my boss pissed me off one too many times.
Called in sick and did a resume. Got my first call the same day and I'm working there. Much better treatment of their workers.

Congrats Tim!

Good morning everyone!

Trying to purchase some land for a business adventure, I am shocked how tight banks are with their money now days. How do they make any money if they don't want to lend any out?

Good morning Wisconsin, happy Friday! Tim, if I wasn't doing what I am now, Machinist would have been my second choice.

Good luck with the loan, Andy. Wonder if it because of the interest rate going up?

I think what scares them is the fact I am self employed, and after deductions and stuff that goes with a self employed business the final income doesn't look real appealing. They don't look at the expense of tools and shop equipment spent every year.

It is just annoying loosing out on a great piece of land because some suit in an office "doesn't like the numbers"...

Well, hopefully you can work something out. Automotive venture, I'm guessing?

Bank

Going round and round with the bank on buying the new house. They will not tell me what the closing costs are. We close next week!
