1950 ford f3 226 flathead H inline 6 exhaust manifold question
Hi everybody,
I have a 1950 ford f3 truck with the original 226 inline 6 motor. the exhaust manifold is quite pitted/repaired sloppy on the flange... I would like to replace it (I can have it sent out/repaired, but rather find a replacement).
Does anyone know if a 1946 226 flathead inline 6 would bolt up to my 1950 motor???
Just wondering of these years are compatible in terms of exhaust manifolds...
Thanks for the advice! I really appreciate it. I'm hoping to simple replace the manifold.

I think that you should have your H series exhaust manifold repaired. I think that your manifold for a G series flathead 6 may bolt up to the engine block but it also has to attach to the intake manifold and I don't know about that. Could you post a pic to show the extent of the damage on the manifold? I have a spare exhaust manifold for the H series.

Thanks so much for the response!!! I would be interested in your H series 226 so long as it fits for my f3 truck application.
Here are a couple pictures of the one I have.
Please let me know if your extra one is in good shape, I would be interested to see it and if it fits, I would definitely be in the market to buy it.
