Anyone ever just swap the 3 pieces on a cluster to go from a stock white cluster to the black fx4 chrome ring face? Thanks

Nice to get one reply...I bought the fX4 speedo and swapping the black faces with trim rings to my original white face cluster.I thought it went better with my black truck and looked more fitting.I am have a local speedo expect do the swap of face for $30-$40 and will be able to sell the donor FX4 cluster with white face so won't have much $$$ in the upgrade.I have ebony (black) grip handles and sunvisor clips.The best part is, won't have to worry about the mileage, since I'm using my original cluster. Again thanks for the compliment.

UPDATE: Anyway the speedometer expert I had scheduled, got sick and I couldn't get any answers of when and if he would be back to work. So I decided to just swap out the clusters myself.Everything went smooth except I ordered 10 #74 bulbs on eBay and it holds 11,DAMN! So I put a used bulb in and the fuel and temp gauges are dim and I need to pull the cluster again.Other than that,it was plug and play,the mileage on the donor popped up as soon as I turn the key and it had 77,000 miles on it,my truck has 93,000 on it so I ordered a official sticker online to post the the correct mileage on the inside door post.In Indiana you only need to put the correct mileage on the title if you trade or sell it but I wanted to be safe and not arrested.
