If you have some basic soldering skills, you can replace the relay itself instead of spending $$$ on a whole new fuse box

I agree with you, however, I pondered doing that but did not have the down time to do so. It's a time consuming job to pull the relay box and tear it completely a part just to get the main board. I asked myself, is it worth it, what if another relay goes bad on the main board 6-12 months down the road. I've seen pictures of the relay somewhat melted, does the heat damaged the main board or relays surrounding-don't know. These are some of the questions that went through my mind. All in all, I guess it boils down to personal preference. I felt a little more at ease spending the $335 to have a brand new fuse box.

Oh, sorry. I misread your post a little. I thought you had problems again after replacing the relay box only 5000 miles ago... Now I see that it was the solution.. hehe
