Only main thing I'm worried about is the 302. I've heard that it is a high revving motor and I'd much rather have torque. I'll have to figure that one out. What size lift is on the 88xltlariat's truck?
It's got a 4" suspension lift and 2" body lilft.

Wow, what are you measuring your mpg with? Not that I'm doubting you, but 35's with 20 mpg holy smokes! Congrats

It's dirty but here you go!

Current gearing with these tires works out to be the exact same as the stock tires and 3.55 original gears. Speedo is spot on!

Here's my old '95 F-150 SuperCab (extended cab is a GM term) on 33/9.50-15s. It had about a 3" lift. Plenty of power with a 351W and 3.55 gears.

All very nice trucks guys! Making me want the lift and tires more and more. The Donk, what wheels are those? Also, what is the backspacing and offset?

Lastly, what source do you guys use for gears?

Keep the pics coming!!!

I picked up a used set of Ford gears from the KS Sunflower Swap Meet. Rear LSD was also from the same place. Front came from Bronco Graveyard.

Nice lookin trucks in this thread.

I had 302 in my truck for what seemed like an eternity. Granted, I have 3/4 ton running gear, but I was miserable driving it with 4.10s and a manual trans and even 33s. I'd re power or go real short on gearing...but everyone's perception of what's miserable and what isn't in the form of power is different, you could always slap the tires on and see what you think.

Agreed. I personally would MUCH rather have lower gearing

I love the 4.88s in my bronco with the 302/5 speed/35s
