deals on shocks?
#3
I actually just picked up my new shocks today that I ordered at a local store called 4WheelParts. I went with the SkyJacker Hydro 7000 shocks. A lot of guys recommended to me Rancho, Blitzen or SkyJackers so I went the SkyJacker route and I installed them this afternoon with a buddy and I notice a big improvement in ride quality, and bumps in the road & rail road crossings. So far I am quite pleased with my choice in shocks compared to my previous shocks, my old shocks weren't worn out or anything but made for a noticeably rougher ride and a bit of roll in turns. (I also replaced both stabilizer bar bushings on my front end today) My truck is an 01 F350 SRW 4WD at factory ride height. SkyJacker offers quite a few different height configurations in their suspension parts & shocks for lift kits. I only paid about $50 per shock, the plain jane munroe shocks at a local Auto Parts store here were $56 a piece so I did end up taking people's advice and went with the performance end side of shock. Hopefully this helps you somewhat.
