Normally if you add lights to the reverse circuit, you need to add a relay and another circuit to take the load off the back-up switch. But these lights you want to add only draw a tiny bit over 1 amp each, so that would be a little bit over 2 amps total, so that should not overload the switch or shorten it's life.

Be careful if you add anything else to this circuit. I would not add a fuse, just let the original fuse for the circuit up front protect your new wiring.

P.S. If you wanted to lighten the load on the circuit, you could replace your factory reverse bulbs with LED and give you that much more headroom on the original circuit.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks. 14ga wire will be overkill but good to go.

Since they are for reverse lights, I don't need load resistors, correct?

My apologies, to clarify I am going to try the LED bulbs first.

If you look in the light bar direction, I'd highly recommend avoiding the cheap ones on Amazon. These are much higher quality, and will be a much better bang for your buck.
