Canadian Vin Plate
#2
This has been a problem for you and our good friends up north as US sources don't really have that information. Probably best to look for Canadian Ford books and/or literature pertaining to that from e-bay or other media sources. I know--not much help right now and it is a fishing expedition. Hopefully someone on FTE can come up with such a thing (assuming Ford kept such records for Canada as they did the US) and can share that stuff in the future. They destroyed much of it down here but a few sources did make it's way out to private hands.

Hey, welcome to FTE ! I can help with most of the code, others will have to help you on the Trim Code, I don't have that info in my 1965 Ford and Mercury Truck Shop Manual.
Make Code 6 = Ford 6 Cyl
Model Code 99 = Styleside Pickup
Series Code 10 = 100 Series
Wheelbase Code 28 = 128.8" wheelbase
Drive Code L = Left Hand Drive
19,433 Unit from Oakville (214434-195001)
Gross Vehicle Weight Code = A = 0 - 6,000 lbs
Trim Code 03 = Not sure on this, maybe post a pic of your seat, so we can see if it looks original or not?
Paint Code PP = Champagne Beige
Rear Axle Ratio = 4.10 to 1, I don't know what kind of rear end, others with more mechanical knowledge will hopefully chime in.
Truck Type Code and Series F100 = Conventional Series
Engine Code SP = 6 Cyl, 240 C.I.D.
Trans Code 4SPD = Some kind of 4 speed transmission
If you search the forums for "Canadian VIN", you'll see that Number Dummy and other Members have translated the Warranty Plate for our Canadian Trucks.
Please post some pics, we would love to see what you have, ie Standard Cab or Custom Cab?
