Not to split hairs, but that's a '52 front end, at least the upper valance is.

Do what YOU think looks best to YOU ! It's not a 100% , bound for Pebble Beach restoration. I have a '51 cab and bed on a '48 front end. I like the small back window, but I like the '51 style dash better. 'Nuff said. Hmmm, how hard would it be to graft a small window on my cab.....

Hey Matt,
In our experience getting the cab all fixed up took the longest - lot's of hard grinding, sanding, welding, .......
It's too much work to just chuck it because some purist at a show might whine...

99% of the folks will just see a beautiful old truck & give you a thumbs up.

I like the look - it's unique & nice.

I say build what will get you on the road fastest.
Unless building is what you like best.

I took another look at the dash piece I have.....it's kinda butchered and not really enough there to work with.
Sorry to get your hopes up.

F-1 Dash

If you're talkin' about the speaker grille, you get that NEW aftermarket.

Since Scott's deal didn't pan out, I'll send you PM about a dash I have from a freshly parted truck.

LOL I have just the opposite. 48 with a 52 cab. I would offer to trade but you wouldn't want my cab. I have not even started on the cab yet.

A serious question: If you mix a '48 with a '51, do you have a Monkey Spreader or a Manure Face?

Ha ha, that made the coffee come out my nose Effie. Seriously though, only us on fte will know what parts we have cobbled together. My truck, for reasons of availabilty is a 49 with 51 doors.

I just bought a 51 truck with a 48 bed So i know things get mismatched but if you saved it from being scrapped and bring it back to life thats all that matters.
